The Maya Hypershade icons and sample scene were created by Andrew Hazelden.
The Mac OS X 64-bit version for Maya 2011+ compiled by Andrew Hazelden. This shader also works with Maya 2012.
I compiled a Mac OS X 64-bit friendly version of the lm2DMV mental ray shader. The lm2DMV motion vector shader allows you to render motion vectors from your Maya scene. This allows you to apply motion blur to your renders as a 2D process in your compositing package.

Sample Vector Displacement Map
vectorDisplace is a mental ray for Maya displacement shader that uses world space vector displacement maps created in programs like Autodesk Mudbox to displace a vertex in three dimensions. To use the vectorDisplace node you need to export a floating point .exr or .tiff image from Mudbox using the "Vector Displacement Map" option in the "Extract Texture Maps" window.
Pavel Ledin aka Puppet created a great mental ray shader package called shaders_p (ver. 3.3.1) which is now available for Maya 2011 64-bit on Mac OS X 10.6. The surface material p_MegaTK can be used as a universal material shader and supports OpenEXR render pass output using p_MegaTK_pass and p_OpenEXR_saver on the Mac.
I created a few sample scenes that demonstrate how to use the basic shaders_p materials.
(Updated May 18, 2011) Ledin Pavel has released a new version of shaders_p (v3.3.1).
If you are using the Windows x64 version you might want some extra files (An updated mi file, sample Maya scene files, and PNG formatted icons for Maya 2011): shaders_p_3.3_extras.zip
Note: There is an issue with Maya 2012 and mental ray geometry shaders / frame buffers that prevents the shaders_p from working correctly. Hopefully Maya 2012 SP1 will fix this problem.
Deex shaders Pack is a collection of shaders with buffer output passes in “one” click for mental ray for Maya 2011. You can output all pass quickly like : diffuse, specular, reflection… This pack is based on the p_shaders from Ledin Pavel aka Puppet.
