shaders_p compiled for Maya 2011 64-bit on Mac OS X

Pavel Ledin aka Puppet created a great mental ray shader package called shaders_p (ver. 3.3.1) which is now available for Maya 2011 64-bit on Mac OS X 10.6. The surface material p_MegaTK can be used as a universal material shader and supports OpenEXR render pass output usingĀ p_MegaTK_pass and p_OpenEXR_saver on the Mac.

I created a few sample scenes that demonstrate how to use the basic shaders_p materials.

(Updated May 18, 2011) Ledin Pavel has released a new version of shaders_p (v3.3.1).

I have updated the Mac build and it is available for download:
shaders_p 3.3.1 for Mac OS X 64-bit (Maya 2011).

If you are using the Windows x64 version you might want some extra files (An updated mi file, sample Maya scene files, and PNG formatted icons for Maya 2011): shaders_p_3.3_extras.zip

Note: There is an issue with Maya 2012 and mental ray geometry shaders / frame buffers that prevents the shaders_p from working correctly. Hopefully Maya 2012 SP1 will fix this problem.
