How did you do the time lapse? I have the same camera and as I mentioned in another post of yours, I'm trying out that firmware too.

There are a variety of intervalometer scripts available for the CHDK firmware. Two simple ones that I wrote are available here: http://www.andrewhazelden.com/files/2010/March/CHDK_intervalometer_scripts.zip . timed.bas allows you set the delay between photos in seconds. rapid.bas works to take photos quickly in rapid succession. rapid.bas works best on photos in single shot mode. After you have the photos transferred you then make an images sequence out of them in a video editing program or a composting package.

Brilliant work. How did you do the pan?

Since the final output for the time-lapse was 1080p video and I was shooting still images with the Canon SD780IS / IXUS 100 camera there was enough resolution to shoot the clip wide and then do a pan and scan on the image sequence in a compositing package.
